		<description>It surprises me to still see these splash pages on websites! Users need your website to display in seconds so that they can find what they are looking for instantly. If those seconds are spent downloading your splash page your users will quickly get impatient.

The only time I think that a splash page should be used is when you have a high-end luxury item (like a Maserati car) or your advertising a type of entertainment, whether it be a movie, a band or a theater show.</description>
